DUBAI – Leading paid public parking operator, Parkin Company, has entered into a multi-year agreement with Binghatti Holding Ltd to manage parking facilities across a portfolio of residential developments in Dubai.

The deal marks a significant step in Parkin’s expansion into developer-managed parking, a segment gaining traction amid growing urban density.

The agreement will see Parkin operate approximately 1,200 parking spaces across selected Binghatti properties located in Jumeirah Village Circle, Al Jaddaf and Business Bay. The initiative aligns with Parkin’s broader strategy to scale its managed parking footprint while enhancing accessibility and efficiency in high-demand districts.

Portfolio expansion

Under the partnership, Parkin will integrate its operational systems into around 30 locations, creating a unified parking ecosystem across the selected developments. The company stated that the agreement is not expected to materially impact its financial performance, but reinforces its long-term growth trajectory within Dubai’s evolving mobility landscape.

The move reflects increasing demand for structured, professionally managed parking solutions, particularly within mixed-use and high-density residential areas where space optimisation is critical.

Digital integration

A key component of the partnership is the full integration of parking services into the Parkin mobile application. Users will be able to access a single digital platform to manage bookings, whether for short-term stays or long-term use, including seasonal parking cards.

This unified system is designed to simplify access and reduce friction for residents and visitors. It also enables better utilisation of existing parking infrastructure, particularly in areas where spaces may be underused during certain periods.

Parkin noted that its advanced technology will facilitate seamless vehicle entry and exit, improving overall traffic flow and user convenience across the developments.

Rollout timeline

Implementation of the project is expected to begin towards the end of the second quarter of 2026. The rollout will involve the deployment of Parkin’s digital and operational systems across Binghatti’s infrastructure, ensuring a consistent and efficient parking experience.

Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, said the agreement represents a key milestone in expanding the company’s developer parking segment, highlighting the growing importance of technology-enabled solutions in urban mobility.

Katralnada Binghatti, CEO of Binghatti Holding, emphasised that the collaboration supports the developer’s focus on enhancing accessibility and operational efficiency across its projects, with smart parking forming part of a broader push towards integrated, future-ready urban environments.
